The Killing Fans Group has released a statement following The Killing’s recent cancellation by AMC. Following is a statement on behalf of the group:
“We are extremely sad to hear the recent news about AMC’s decision not to renew The Killing for a fourth season. We want to thank the extraordinary cast and crew from all three seasons of the series, and the amazing fans who watched and loved The Killing with us.
As for The Killing Awards event, that was scheduled to this Sunday, we want to make it clear that the event will take place with no delays or changes. We also want to announce the next stages for our ‘Season 4 Campaign’, and further instructions to the fans will be posted on our blog soon.
The Killing aired between April 3, 2011 to August 4, 2013.

The Killing had me riveted from start of season 1 to the season 3 finale. Sophisticated,intense,intelligent. Will reflect poorly on T.V. if AMC,Netflix allow it’s extinction.
