AMC’s new cop drama, Low Winter Sun, lost more than a half of its viewers in its second episode. After debuting with 2.51 million total viewers and a 1.1 rating in the 18-49 ages demographic, the show fell last night to 1.47 millon total viewers with a 0.5 rating 18-49.
The news are good to the fans of The Killing, since a lot of TV critics speculated that the success of Low Winter Sun and Hell on Wheels may influence on the fate of The Killing, and while The Killing hasn’t been renewed for season 4 just yet, Deadline‘s sources recently claimed that early word on The Killing’s renewal looks positive.
Also on news, Hell On Wheels’ third episode gained 1.88 million total viewers, down from last week’s 2.49 total, and received a 0.5 18-49 rating, which equals to last week’s 2 hour season premiere. The final episodes premiere of Breaking Bad last week broke the series high with 5.91 million total viewers and a 2.9 rating in the 18-49 ages demo, while this week’s episode gained only 4.77 million total viewers and a 2.4 rating in the 18-49 ages demo. In conclusion, this week was bad to AMC in the ratings.
